THE CONTEXT
THE CONTEXT
ElliottHalls is a private fine-art photography gallery and one of the leading authorities in its field in Europe. The space sits inside one of Amsterdam's iconic Tussen de Bogen arches, beneath the railway lines of the city centre. The setting is unusual, specific, and genuinely memorable. The brand needed to be too.

THE THINKING
THE THINKING
The arch is the gallery. It frames the entrance, defines the interior, and gives the space its character. Rather than treating it as a reference or a motif, we made it the structural logic of the identity: a shape that acts as a window into the collection, flexible enough to carry different content but always instantly recognisable as ElliottHalls. Simple ideas, well executed, tend to last.

THE WORK
THE WORK
The resulting identity is clean and adaptable, working across print, digital, and the physical environment of the gallery itself. The arch functions as a framing device throughout: for photography, for typography, for the way the brand presents work to the world. For a gallery whose whole purpose is to direct attention toward what's inside, that felt like the right logic to build on.
